Terms and Conditions

The legal bits and pieces

The following terms and conditions apply to all quotations, prices and contracts between Artistic Design Limited (trading as Print It) and the interested parties. Any alteration, waiver or amendment must be written up clearly and signed by both parties.

1.0 Definitions
1.1 "Seller" is Artistic Design Limited providing the printing goods and services.
1.2 "Buyer" is the contracting party requesting the goods or services.
1.3 "Order" refers to an order placed online or otherwise and is legally binding between the Buyer and Seller.

2.0 Pricing
2.1 All prices published on our website are subject to change without prior notice.
2.2 All quotations are based on present printing costs and unless otherwise specified are subject to change to meet unforeseen rises in cost (inc. VAT changes).
2.3 All quotations generated by the Seller are honoured for up to 30 days.
2.4 Any extra work caused to the Seller by unclear or changing specifications on the part of the Buyer or insufficient quality of artwork will be charged.
2.5 All artwork and proofing will be charged even if the Buyer does not complete the contract and order the goods.
2.6 Payment shall become due before delivery of the Order.
2.7 The Buyer must inform the Seller in writing about any reductions or cancellations in the order and the Buyer will be charged for any work already carried out.

3.0 Electronic Files or Artwork Submitted
3.1 The Buyer is responsible to retain a copy of all electronic files and artwork submitted.
3.2 The Seller shall not be responsible for checking the accuracy or spelling of any material provided for printing unless agreed upon in writing.
3.3 The Seller shall not be liable for any errors in submitted artwork or after proofs have been fully approved by the Buyer.
3.4 The Seller may reject any electronic files or other materials supplied or specified by the Buyer which appear to him to be unsuitable for the purpose intended.
3.5 Due to difference in printing methods, any reasonable colour variation between the original material and the finished order will be considered acceptable by the Buyer (particularly in files not submitted in CMYK format).
3.6 Where the Buyer specifically waives any requirement to examine proofs the Seller is indemnified by the Buyer against any and all errors in the finished Work.
3.7 Due to the variations of each screen, colour accuracy can not be assumed by screen proofing. The quality and resolution of a printed product can also not be assumed by screen proofing. Without accepting a digital calibrated proof the Seller accepts no liability if the final copy varies from the screen visual.
3.8 All property supplied to the Seller by or on behalf of the Buyer shall while it is in the possession of the Seller or in transit to or from the Buyer be deemed to be at Buyer’s risk unless otherwise agreed in writing and the Buyer should insure accordingly.
3.9 All deadlines and guarantees commence once the proof has been signed off.

4.0 Delivery
4.1 All orders are delivered at no extra charge to the kerbside of a single UK address unless otherwise specified.
4.2 Delivery times are a guide only, and whilst the Seller will do its utmost to deliver all orders on time, time is not of the essence in any contract with the Buyer and the Seller is not liable for any costs or damages resulting from late deliveries to the Buyer.
4.3 All expedited deliveries will incur extra charges for overtime and additional costs.
4.4 Delivery involving difficult access and/or unreasonable distance from vehicular access shall entitle the Seller to make an extra charge to reflect its extra costs.
4.5 Delivery is during normal business hours and any out-of-hours delivery arrangements will incur an extra cost.

5.0 Claims and Liability
5.1 All claims and complaints by the Buyer must be sent in writing to the Seller within 5 working days of delivery of order.
5.2 If the Order is defective so that the Buyer may in law reject it, said rejection must take place within 7 days of delivery of the goods, failing which the Buyer will be deemed to have accepted the Order.
5.2 In the case of non-delivery, all claims must be sent in writing to the Seller within 28 working days of dispatch of Order.
5.3 The Seller will be indemnified by the Buyer regarding any claims, actions, costs and liabilities for violation of copyright and trademark laws or infringement of intellectual property and other rights of any third party.
5.4 The Seller has the right to refuse to print any matter considered in their eyes illegal, libelous or offensive in any way. A full refund will be provided should payment have already been made.

6.0 Payment
6.1 All online orders must be paid for upon placing the order via our website's secure payment plan. All popular debit and credit cards are accepted.
6.2 In the event of non-payments that lead to dispute and/or litigation, the Buyer agrees to pay all legal and collection fees incurred by the Seller.
